European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) implements project “Support for International Collaboration Projects in Science and Technologies at Institute of Solid State Physics UL (ISSP UL)” at the Institute of Solid State Physics from July 1, 2010 till June 30, 2013 within the activity 2.1.1.2.
Project identification No. 2010/0204/2DP/2.1.1.2.0/10/APIA/VIAA/010
Currently, ISSP UL in the European research area is known for its achievements in solid state physics as well as for research in the area of nanostructured and multifunctional materials. Unfortunately, there is insufficient funding to strengthen the existing scientific potential, which limits the international competitiveness of ISSP UL scientists.
The project provides funding for the following activities:
1. For preparation of international collaboration project applications (FP7, EUREKA, etc.) 25 projects will be submitted;
2. Attendance at the international conferences, promoting the visibility of scientific activities in the EU and world science scene. (117 conferences);
3. Promotion of research results, including organization of international conferences at ISSP UL and Latvia (14 conferences);
4. Participation with exhibits in international exhibitions (9 exhibitions).
Project is implemented at the Institute of Solid State Physics UL from July 1, 2010 till June 30, 2013.
The total eligible costs of the project are 232125 LVL
