This year, for the first time, a separate session was devoted to supporters of the UL Foundation - SIA Mikrotīkls, Māris Vainovskis and Alfreds Raisters - for supporters of young researchers-doctorates and at the same time fellows in various fields of science. These include also 5 researchers working at the Institute of Solid State Physics UL: Inga Jonāne, Guna Krieke, Julija Perveņecka, Meldra Ķemere and Andrejs Česnokovs.
