At the end of September, the SWEB (Smart Window for Zero Energy Buildings) project team in collaboration with Professor Dr. Esra Zayim from Istanbul Technical University organized a roundtable discussion as a platform for the exchange of innovative ideas and strategies aimed at advancing the transformation of the Thin Film Laboratory.

Dr. Juris Purans as SWEB project manager shared his vision for the Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia (ISSP UL) Thin Film Laboratory's transformation roadmap with emphasis was on forging sustainable partnerships with major industry players in the coating industry. Dr. Purans's insights offered a glimpse into the laboratory's commitment to fostering industry collaboration for mutual growth.

Professor Dr. Esra Zayim contributed her extensive experience in developing effective communication strategies. She emphasized the critical role of stakeholder engagement, particularly in supporting the lab-to-market transition, which is especially vital for young researchers seeking to bridge the gap between academia and industry.
