Investment and Development Agency of Latvia, PhotonicsFinland and PhotonicSweden, Latvian, Finnish and Swedish scientists and industry representatives are organizing the Nordic Optics and Photonics (NOP) conference with a poster session and exhibition stands as part of the Deep Tech Atelier event.
Bachelor, Master, Ph.D. students, as well as postdoc and more senior researchers, have the opportunity to present their work. The Conftool system is designed to submit an abstract for the opportunity to give an oral or poster presentation of your research. The best abstracts will be selected for an oral presentation.
Quantum, optical fiber, and sensors will be the main focus. Abstracts and speakers presentations are expected and will be given on the following topics: Advanced Materials, Optics & Spectroscopy, Photonics in Manufacturing, Laser Technology, Quantum, Optical Fibers, Sensors, Photonics in Life Sciences, Security and Safety, etc.
NOP will be held in parallel in two sessions – industry and academy.

In addition to these activities, the conference on April 19 will be exclusively for the NOP participants to visit and get to know Latvian scientific institutions in this field. On April 20-21, within the framework of Deep Tech Atelier, the NOP itself will take place with both individual presentations and panel discussions.
