On 9 February launched the project BASREHRT (Baltic Sea Renewable Energy and Hydrogen Experts Roundtable). The roundtable discussion cycle is dedicated to the potential of renewable energy, in particular hydrogen, and for the development of safe and competitive electricity in the region.

The goal of the project is to create a multinational and cross-sectoral platform for collaboration, consisting of renewable energy & H2 technology. Actors to build a future emission-free energy system solution.

The first roundtable discussion "What can we do together?" took place in Riga. It was attended by the Ministry of Economics of Latvia, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development, the Latvian Hydrogen Association, the Institute of Solid State Physics of the University of Latvia, Latvenergo, Schwenk Latvija, Conexus Baltic Grid, Ventspils nafta Terminals, Riga International Airport, Rīgas satiksme, Wind Energy Association,  Representatives of Latvian municipal and regional energy agencies etc. The Swedish side was represented by the Swedish Hydrogen Association, Chalmer University of Technology, Nillsson Energy and other representatives of the renewable energy sector.
