In order to strengthen Latvia's position in the transport and mobility sector, the organisation "Green-Tech Cluster" together with innovative companies and research institutions in this field has established the Future Mobility Consortium.

The goal of the future mobility consortium is to promote Latvia's competence and opportunities in this sector by developing the national industry. The consortium brings together economic operators, research organisations, public partners as well as public participation to promote new initiatives, professional exchanges of views and cross-cutting cooperation.

"Green-Tech Cluster" includes sectors important for sustainable development of Latvia, which are also priority sectors of smart specialization strategy - mechanical engineering and mechanical engineering, information and communication technologies and space technologies, energy efficient structures, efficient production and environmentally friendly raw materials. This synergy allows successfully use the available resources and achieve the most effective development of the Latvian economic environment. The cluster unites the fastest growing companies with a significant export share and development potential in priority sectors of the Latvian economy.

Currently, supporters of future mobility consortia include "Latvijas Mobilais Telefons", "Ferrus", "Electrify", "Fiqsy", "CityBee", "Lesla Technologies", "TransfoElectric", "Global Wolf Motors", "HyMet", Riga Technical University, Institute of Solid State Physics of the University of Latvia, Latvian Startup Association, "e-mobility.lv", "Z-Triton".
