“Prototron” is a fund created in 2012, which aims to contribute to the birth of new start-ups and world-changing technologies through prototype financing. The donors and partners of Prototron care about entrepreneurship and help bring innovation from science labs to everyday life.
Prototron, a facility that supports the implementation of smart ideas. So far Prototron has helped 86 technological solutions bought to market and invested more than one million euros in the implementation of smart ideas.
In 2020 Prototron became an Estonian-Latvian fund and due the COVID-19 both rounds were held in e-channels.
The spring round is already open, and applications can be submitted at: www.prototron.ee until 25 March at 23:59.
Applicants may be individuals as well as businesses with projects from all fields, especially: greentech, digitalization of industry, new materials, health-tech and fintech.
Winner takes it all: up to 35 000€ equity free funding for prototyping, incubation at Startup incubator, R&D mentoring from TalTECH and legal aid form Hedman. The winners will be announced on the startup conference Latitude59.
