The Ministry of Education and Science of Latvia, in cooperation with the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), has developed a draft for a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Latvia and the EIT, which will facilitate cooperation between Latvian partners and the Knowledge and Innovation Communities of the EIT. The purpose of the Memorandum is to encourage the activity of the EIT and innovation communities, as well as to establish a co-location center in Latvia.
To implement the Memorandum, an action plan will be prepared within six months from the signing of Memorandum. This is expected to happen by the end of the year.
