On December 15, ISSP UL became a member of the Latvian Information Technology (IT) cluster. The Latvian IT cluster is a non-governmental organization that manages cooperation with Latvian IT companies, educational and state institutions. The main priority of the Latvian IT cluster is new cooperation and development opportunities for member companies and institutions.
The Latvian IT Cluster regularly organizes trade missions and experience exchange events for its members, thus promoting the transfer of knowledge on export promotion and acquisition of new markets, as well as industry news and other topics. The IT Cluster also implements various international cooperation projects to promote the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises in the IT sector and the development of the cluster.
The Latvian IT Cluster was founded in 2007, uniting more than 30 companies - both small and medium-sized enterprises and start-ups, as well as the largest and most experienced participants in the Latvian IT industry with the aim of supporting Latvian companies in the information technology sector and promoting further business development. The cluster has received a silver award from the European Cluster Excellence Initiative.
