On 1 December, SIA "ZAAO" has announced an application in Latvia for the first waste recycling hackathon "DaibeZero" to put forward ideas for the creation of new technologies from waste and enable an opportunity build the business.
Hakaton's goal is to find solutions for waste recycling and enable young entrepreneurs, scientists and environmental enthusiasts to participate in processes relevant to Latvia by innovating in the field of waste research and recycling.
In Hakaton will participate scientists from our Institute of Solid State Physics, the Hydrogen Association, Riga Technical University, as well as specialists who could help develop recycling.
Hackathon will take place on 20 and 21 February 2021 at the Regional Waste Management Centre "Daibe" and vidzeme Olympic Centre.
