The third Mechanical Engineering and Metalworking Business Forum will be held as an online event on November 25–26. The forum is organised by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) in cooperation with the Association of Mechanical Engineering and Metalworking Industries of Latvia and will gather 123 participants from 21 countries.
The aim of the forum is to introduce foreign companies with Latvia’s developments in mechanical engineering and to spur their international growth. The opportunities of the vibrant engineering sector of Latvia will be presented as well.
In the short presentation session Invention of New Technologies and Materials participated our institute's representative Krišjānis Šmits with the presentation "Metals and their coatings – development and characterization".
