Dr. phys. Juris Purāns receives the award of the Latvian Academy of Sciences and Riga City Council

On November 18, at the Ceremonial meeting of the Riga City Council, the award of the Riga City Council and the Latvian Academy of Sciences was presented to the Head of our Institute's Thin Film Laboratory, academician Dr. phys. Juris Purāns.

The award was granted for fundamental research in the field of synchrotron radiation and promotion of international recognition of Riga City.
