The keynote address was presented by the LAS President Prof Ojārs Spārītis, while the academic lecture "Ethics on the eve of the Fourth Industrial Revolution" was delivered by Prof. Skaidrīte Lasmane and the reports by the LAS Secretary General and the Chair of the Supervisory Council were brought to the attention of the participants of the Meeting.
By tradition, the Academy's awards were conferred, also to the researcher of ISSP UL Laboratory of Spectroscopy Dr.phys. Andris Antuzevičs and to the new scientist of ISSP UL Laboratory of Organic Materials Dr.phys. Jeļena Miķelsone.
