The Research Executive Agency of the European Commission organised review of our institute’s largest project CAMART² on October 25 – 26, 2018. The objectives of the review were to assess the progress of the work plan, all deliverables completed, the objectives still relevant, resources planned and spent appropriately and other qualitative and quantitative indicators that are crucial to successful project implementation.

The review panel consisted of the project CAMART² EC Officer and Advisor Konstantinos Amolochitis and experts:
  • Dr. Stéphane David from the Institute <link http: www-list.cea.fr en _blank>CEA LIST, France. The LIST institute is one of three institutes which comprises CEA Tech and is committed to technological innovation in digital systems. Its R&D activities are driven by major economic, societal and industrial challenges - encompass four main themes: factory of the future, cyber-physical systems, artificial intelligence and digital health.
  • Dr. Kaczmarek Malgosia, <link https: www.southampton.ac.uk _blank>University of Southampton and <link https: www.ecs.soton.ac.uk business _blank>ECS Partners Ltd, UK. The University of Southampton is in the top 100 universities according to the QS World University Rankings 2019. ECS Partners Ltd is a commercial consultancy service that draws on the skills and capabilities of our leading electronics and computer science researchers.
The reviewers visited also ISSP UL premises to get a close look in everyday life of the institute.
